Enjoy the block while it lasts - probably 4 hours or so.

Remember to take your pain medicine before it hurts to bad. Won't work well if you let your pain level get too high before you take one.

Nope, I'm a nurse. Spent a lot of time on a surgical floor and worked in the recovery room in outpatient surgery for a while. Taught the new residents the finer points of post-surgical pain control.

Also, watch yourself and be aware of where that arm is going... you may not feel anything now, but if you bash the crap outta it you WILL feel it later...
