#8 out of the egg ! They're zipping so close together I can't open the bator to put them in the brooder. :) Did you say the snows were Calls?

lol... welcome to the popcorn... :D

Yep, Snowy's are Calls... I only hatch Calls... and just 2 of our ducks are not Calls, they're Rouen/Mallard mixes and I won't have anymore big ducks...

When the popping slows down and I move chicks to the brooder should I reposition the remaining eggs? Or just leave them be?

Either or... that's up to you... I just wouldn't keep the bator open too long... :)

Ok. These have been bounced around a good bit. I'm leaving them all in the bator til my wife wakes up in a few hours. I don't trust Phe Phantom with eggs or baby chicks.

As pretty as the Snowy babies are, I still think greys are the prettiest.

I adore how cute my Snowy's are, but grey will always be special to me...

I've got to get to work building ( without losing any more digits). My wife is raising a new generation of poultry enthusiasts at her day care. :) They would love the addition of ducks. There's one little girl my wife kept before she became school age who still comes one afternoon a week and loves the birds. She even went to a show with us in February. I gotta figure out a way to connect chickens in the daycare cost so we can claim it as a tax deduction.
