I've got a little more than a BB gun....that dog killed my favorite hen..."pearl".....right on my porch.
Pearl had the coolest white dot on her throat......I'm not a bit worried about killing the neighbors dog.

You all may be surprised to hear this, but my varmint exterminator of choice is a .177 spring pellet rifle. Of course, if I didn't live in a densely populated area I'd probably choose something else out of my collection, but it has stopped everything with no collateral damage. Chipmunk, squirrel, rabbit, possum, skunk, woodchuck, raccoon have all taken a single pellet to the head. The raccoon took two because his head was in the tree so I had to zing his butt first to get him to turn around. Nice thing is no evidence and not enough noise to attract attention.

It's also extremely good for euthanizing injured birds.

I already talked to the police chief.....I have a right to protect my birds on my property.....trust me the last thing i "want" to do is kill my friends dog. If I lived where you do if probably use a smaller gun....that one just happens to be always loaded....and not for critters......remember there was a meth house across the street last summer......my cats pretty much kill all the small critters around here.
I actually wouldn't mind getting a nice pellet gun though could be handy.

Spitzes and EEs locked down! Spitzes are shipped, 13/15 went to lockdown. Not a single intact air cell in the bunch, and several were full rollers that are now blobs or saddles.

Rights don't go for any value here. This is a very closed minded NIMBY community that moved to the country and made the country go away.

I've heard stories of people taking out dogs with these with a well placed shot. I would like one.
