My theory is......
I recently put a new timer for the lights on....... It is on from 6am to 11 am .....I usually let them out by 9:30.... This morning I was late (11:30)
There is no other light in the pen.... So they were in the dark for half an hour.... Do you think that triggered them to lay an egg early?

My boy's team is leading the number one team in the conference 5-3 in the second inning. I hope they can pull this one out!

It was cold, and they laid tomorrow's eggs early.  You will probably only get 2 tomorrow, then the usual amount the next day.  My turkeys have been popping out unfinished eggs on really cold nights.  I think they just squeeze too hard.
