I fished today.... Lost one to a broken line. But I ran into my friend Patrick.... The one on the pics with the big fish....... He's been guiding steel headhead on the Manistique river and told me if I wanted I could run down there with him Monday. I'm excited cuz he's the best I've ever fished with. He's been pulling 20 some days.

He grew up with my kids..... He also was a MMA pro fighter for years so he could fish.... He was undefeated but gave it up to save his body and become a fishing guide which was his dream job.

What a life! But guiding is such hard work and sometimes you have to deal with difficult clients.

He travels the country fishing..... Been on television.... Does fishing videos....... Was gonna go UFC but decided it didn't pay enough for the pain. He now guides and does contractor work with the family business.
