we just started FF with our new pullets and young roos..........they seem to like it okay.
The bonus on the fermented feed is that the fermentation( lactic Fermentation! Only)
Is been done by diverse Bacteria, like Lactobacilli, and acetobacterium that are probiotic and are highly beneficial to your fowls! In the fermentation process a lot of plant inhibitors materials like Phytic acid, that can be found in a lots of grains that use to make the feed are destroyed, and above all the Bacteria that are responsible for the process produce a large amount vitamins especially from the B complex. So by all mins give your ducks fermented feed!
I'm hoping to not have to buy multiple stages of feed anymore. I've read that it's good from the hatching on.
I've liked the idea of FF because of my experience with sour dough starter.
X2I don't use FF, but I am down to a single feed for all stages... Purina Flock Raiser is all I use directly from hatch to lay... both chickens and ducks...
You realy brilliant today!! What happened?I'm sure its great bread, but what a bland diet.......lol
