Don't think age is the problem; more like how long it took Texas to get TV

no I grew up with a tv.........it didn't get turned on until dad got home from work tho.........

I did grow up with no ac.......and the only heat in the house was in the bathroom (dearborn), and the dining room (dearborn) and the living room (benjamin wood stove).

and I guess the kitchen too.......because while fixing breakfast we would always turn on the burners to the stove.......lol

Stoves somehow tend to work more efficiently when the burners are turned on, for sure.
