French frogs

Just went out to the coop and found 4 eggs: 3 cream, one blue. That means my other Orloff pullet is laying!!

Since I didn't go out yesterday, and the eggs are super cold but not broken, I'm guessing they are ok to eat??
unwashed?

yes.

think they can go two weeks unwashed?

Didn't your "friend" take pics?

No. The blood from different follicles had him slightly concerned...

Didn't hurt the first time. Just the second application...

why would you strip?

man, those are in much better shape that the pallets I pick up.  you actually have usable 2x4's.
The frames are 47 inch by 25 inch nailed at the corners. That's why all my coops are 47" or smaller ;)

I was just wondering if the texture would be weird if they froze inside. It got down to 18 last night, but they were in the nestbox, in the coop. Felt like eggsicles when I picked them up.
I haven't ever noticed a difference. I've eaten quite a few eggs that have frozen while camping, and even had some mostly frozen still when I cracked the egg, and it defrost on the griddle and didn't notice a difference.

I had a couple freeze....they split....I boiled them up and have them to the dogs....but they looked perfectly fine...

Actually, if they are clean but unwashed they can be fine for a month on the counter... refridgerated, several months...

If washed, the storage time is less...

If they freeze but don't break, you can use them but I wouldn't hard boil them... scrambled is ok, hardboiled frozen tends to be mushy, lol...

oh, sorry......frozen?

not yard eggs, but back when we bought eggs from the store, we had a spot in the ice box that would freeze stuff.........ate frozen eggs, no big deal. usually scrambled with other eggs, but didn't notice a difference.
