Yep, I'm working. I need to be home finishing a coop. My Wyandotte would not win a show by any means. But we're both old and we give each other compliments everyday to boost our egos. The coyotes haven't come that close to my house in a while. Hope the sight of me running in Crocs and screaming like a banshee scared the

out of them.

Hope you get some nice ones, and the leghorns should definitely keep you in eggs. Betting hatchery birds won't look quite like that picture though, those are show birds.

Hatchery SLWs are pretty, but sidewing bought some high dollar breeder birds, and they are gorgeous. Stunning difference

After getting the BCM yesterday, I told Mrs. Flock "that's it, no more". Again...

it looks like Sidewing is the man, on BYC when it comes to these birds.

I will look heavily at the breeder he got his birds from in the future.

I've got a hatchery SLW hen that's about nine years old. Still looks healthy and pretty.

My sister had some hatchery GLW hens last year

Meet Hazel. Really laid back old bird. Doesn't bother anyone and no one bothers her. Her sister Harriet died a while back but she was crazy as a bed bug. My therapist diagnosed her with avian schizophrenia.

Agreed, I think they laugh alot, but they are hard to really scared away. I think they even find a missed shot funny. They will leave while the bullets are flying, but as long as they didn't get hit they just hide out and laugh, waiting until later to return.
