I had time to look the chicks over last night, and they are way different than the Tater tots. I can't wait to watch them grow out

You know what's long and hard on a BCM?



A winter in the Rocky Mountains!

They are turning out pretty dang good, but they are a little rugged for pics. I think the cold made them grow slower this winter too. I'm hoping they make up time as it warms up and I'll get some good pics. I also had to put a no crow collar on the boy. All the BCM I have had are very high pitched. The SLW are almost a low bass type of crow.

Tate was very low pitched, but a beautiful crow. What's funny is the AMs. They all sound different than any rooster I have ever heard
