He used the raspberry pi tiny computer and wrote the script to program it, which is plugged into the touch screen monitor. They both came from amazon. He had to learn a new programming language for it to work.
Eta. The temp and humidity sensors plug into the pi.

I'm not really sure... never checked that part... takes 5-10 mins depending on how long it was open for the cabinet to return to full temp...

I just read somewhere that it can take 4 to 6 hours. Thanks though.I am watching this thing like a hawk.
