Sounds about right... I never check actual egg temp as long as my bator stays at temp...

I second that. GQF put a thermometer hole in the upper side of my incubator and said set it at 100F. So I did, using the Spot Check to be sure. The trays read 1 to 2F cooler, but that thing brews eggs like you would not believe. I quit checking temperature and humidity completely.

So did I... it got me in trouble though, so I gotta check it once in a while...

Had 4 Calls take 4 days to hatch... due to the top being slightly cracked open, temp was slightly low... :/

Do you have separate heat sources for the incubator and hatcher?

Yes the hatcher and incubator have separate heat sources, and sensors. We had to go with bulbs as they were the easiest to control.

You may be able to contact some local university business programs. A lot of them have small business development groups that might be able to help, but I have heard the process can be spendy.
