French frogs

DH was a landscape contractor, self employed, for 30 years. Decided to work for a large landscape company as a project manager and has found out the company does not have the same values he does.

He will probably start doing small landscape renovation or even maintenance. Not sure. There's a few huge nurserys in town that I'm sure he can get a job at while he's thinking about it.

That always sounded like a fun job. I realize there is probably more to it then planting flowers, but the idea of being paid to plant a garden sounds great.

So a pleasant picture to brighten the day, it brightens mine anyway :)

This is the grass calves. I love it when DH let's them back here to graze, kids do to. Thing 1 and thing 2 stand by the fence and call to their cows, it is quite cute.
Do the cows respond to the kids?

Beautiful picture, very pretty.

I'm starting carb cutting today.... Gonna lose a few pounds.... Any one got projects lined up for the weekend?
. Just need to reconfigure my roost space and put some shelves back up in the coop. What I originally designed for 10 chickens is not working for 24. :gig

They haven't before, but this is a new batch. Just as well if they do not, much harder to sell a friendly calf.
Lol chicken math?

LOL. Kind of, although most of them are this years chicks and the extra boys won't be here long. Some of my old biddies don't like anyone roosting near them, so more roost space will be good no matter how many I keep.

I'd love to be able to do landscaping... My imagination isn't geared at it..... I have a one acre "yard" of love to make it homey.... I love plants..... Really wish I had a nice place to just hang out....

:gig. We are sitting here right now trying to figure a coop out.... Almost thinking of buying a lot just to get the ball rolling add I can't build one that cheap and I'm projects begging right now....
It's not that pretty here!

I :love sunrises here..... Post more people.... Sunsets too..... Heck just post some awesome pics.... I love the way we share glimpses of our "world"

This is why I was wondering, theres a chick that was sold as a BR but has white feet, I figured she was a cuckoo but she looks way lighter and her spots look more like a BR than cuckoo Heres one of the cuckoos
Dan, you have to know by now that there aren't any purely bred birds in that flock. The white legs could have influence from another bird, but that pattern is barred. In my experience, the cuckoos do not get darker. Like Oz said, my cuckoo rooster is by far my favorite rooster on the farm
1 AM pipped!! Tomorrow should be hatch day. Yes D & D that was our first BD chicks. That boy was monogamous for a while but figures it out finally.
Thats grea, Sid! Any chicks yet? You should have 15 splash and 9 black eggs arriving today

It is a gorgeous picture! Sometimes simple is so beautiful.
