French frogs

Oh, was that the how to call them home one? :D I love that one... and the tripping one was LG, lol...
Are these your own eggs? Instead of hand turning each one, how about setting them in the turner and putting a block under one side to tilt it, and switch it back and forth as often as you can? Just trying to help figure out an option within budget for you... :)

You gotta make more movies! Make 'em longer, too. For some reason it relaxes me watching birds but I can't go get mine out of the coop in the middle of night. I think I could go to sleep watching your ducklings preen video! :gig
Hey we're the ducks coming to the gun shot or running home for cover?

Yes they are my own and the ones I want to hatch out are needing to go in now, the rest are table eggs.. Want to build one or buy a good used one, but had a bad week and the vet bills are big...

I totally understand... is the tilting method an option then?

Both... that was OH firing off the back porch, lol... they always run for the yard whether it is towards or away from the shot...

Can't do longer... uploading from my phone to youtube a min is max... last time I did a full minute it took an hour to upload and process... :/

Ok, got a serious question for all of you. Having Baylor problems and need to know what is fair to pay someone else to incubate eggs for me?

I incubated for people repeatedly over the last six months, made a few diff deals depended on what I was hatching. 100$ chicks I only asked for 6 of but 3$ chicks I asked for half the hatch, on all occasions I feel we'll compensated. You do what u gotta do, but these are some great incubating specialists on this thread.

Not unless you can tell me how to fix mouse problems... Have a Turner motor that went out on both turners too... Had an animal emergency so buying one now is not feasible... $3.00 an egg seems expensive?

I'd consider that too high.

Seems expensive to me, few day old chicks cost that amount, and I take it your supplying the eggs

Yes ma'am too high

Too much... $1 to $2 at most per live chick hatched... or 1/4 of the live hatch...

What is the bator and what is the issue besides the turner? Could you hand turn? Even 3x times a day is usually doable and will give a good hatch rate...

C'mon, you jumped into the sludge pond, spill... ;)

I was gna recommend this too, Fresh Eggs, if u could turn when u get up, get home and before bed in The manor later described by Ravyn, it's not terribly difficult and it is sufficient for hatchlings. I hand turn every set, but I don't have a real job...

I just made the most amazing... Steak and Cheddar Duck egg omlette... Straight out of the ducks butt...yummmmmmy..... Well there is both a race and a baseball game on today..... Race Trump's ballgame though.... But I'll peek in at the score on and off.... Tomorrow is go to town and buy waders day.... Tuesday is fishing day......

Bristol! Tv is coropurating!!! :weee

This, not terribly difficult, and u can work the turns into ur schedule doesn't need to be at any certain times just as far apart as possible.

Me too.... Turk!!!!! Bristol baby!!!!

Ok, gonna give it a try.. Thanks everybody... Sorry about Spice Ravyn...

Just ask if your unsure of Anything. Its been discussed here how turning in that method only turns thru two planes, so u will need to rotate the eggs on your candling days, but u should already move them from inside out and outside in anyway, to compensate for warm and cool spots in your bator. And you might not even have to Open it for this type of turning, depending on the type you have?
