Their so cute! Easy to see why you love them! How long do their little field trips last?
That's funny! They're so comical aren't they? Thanks, everyone... was hilarious... mommas were fine with running the babies all around tbe house but freaked out when they started outside... 15 mins of standing in the front door watching a spider on the porch roof before determining it wasn't gonna jump down on their babies...![]()
So sweet Ravyn!LG isn't afraid of new stuff... she gets excited and is always in the middle of it... but they're paranoid for the babies... other neighbor started his lawn mower and they jumped away... babies started to cry and LG was right back in the middle of them... We kept it to a short field trip, little ones wore out quick...

It's pouring rain here. Mark looked out & saw Donald on top of Daffy up against the fence. Unfortunately, Daffy is showing signs of wear & tear since she's Donald's favorite. Mark opened the window to yell at Donald to get off of her. HA...like that's gonna work.
Will her eyes stay blue! How beautiful!DH says 3 have hatched, one looks like a blue eyed white!
I had no idea chickens could swim! I'm guessing they don't like to though..maybe they'll wade in it though.I was bound and determined to get ducks until I saw this:![]()

Wow! Your a heroHi guys.... Long busy day today and I'm hurting pretty bad right now..... And no don't needed no sympathy I'm just saying.....I pushed out to much should have known better...... It's hard being a mother ducker .... Today neighbors grandkids came over and I said I'd go in and bring out a duckling for them to see...... Well I went into the spare bedroom to grab one from the cages and one was laying on its back... Foaming at the mouth..... Shaking..... Soak and wet.......I grabbed it out wrapped it in a towel totally panicking.... It wheezed and trembled forever... Finally got it dried off and warmed up.... And everything All is good.... Heck I couldn't tell you which one it was now.....I think there was some snafu with the waterer...... I replaced it with a bowl...... But you know what was funny....... Every time I set the trembling duckling in the cage the others would run over to it and surround it..... Like they were trying to warm it up..... Cute as all get up I tell you.... And don't try and tell me different............ Anyone out there?
That's beautiful Dan!

Hello, good to hear your duckling is better. I have been fairly busy too. Despite the fact that it rained all day (not complaining) we managed to fence most of the garden and I fenced off my brooder room so my younger chicks could have some room, out growing the brooder box, and the older chicks could not get to them.
.
Poor little 'ling... glad you went in at the right time!
Crazy day here too...![]()
