I'm in the wrong business . I stoped to buy strawberries on the side of the road today . the price was outrageous .  The guy also had honey . He wanted $12 a pint    I can buy whiskey cheaper than that . Thinking I might get me some Bees . Worst can happen is I get stung a lot.

I pay $10 a point from a friend of mine... I grew up raising bees there is a lot that goes into it.... The honey I buy is way better than the store stuff....

I never mind paying for raw, local honey. Beats the cheap, over processed stuff from China by a mile.

Would love to have bees though.

I would too but I'm already over whelmed with projects....:/

Just got back from Duke City with my chicken feed. The drop coordinator was dressed as Princess Leia for Star Wars day. It was cute.

I took these today, of and from the Battery Point lighthouse...

When the tide's out, you can walk to the lighthouse. Makes supplying it fairly simple.

Not sure you can read the signs...

ETA: Actually, that last one is on the same side as the picnic table--bottom of the path, though.

I've been on prilosec since it came out... It's great for severe heart burn..... But I really think either losing weight of an surgical procedure is in my future... I'll start a diet today.... (As soon as I finish my large coke...).... Again you all are a great bunch and if be lost.. without you....

I haven't had really bad acid reflux in a while, but when I eat lots of refined sugars it seems to be the worst. I found that drinking lemon water (just water with fresh squeezed lemon in it, no sugar) really seems to help. Something I read online saying lemon water helps the ph of your body change and become more basic.

I don't know for sure if it was the cutting the refined sugars, the lemon water, or both, but it seems to have helped my acid reflux, and actually my joint pain as well.

DH has reflux too, but the episodes have been a lot farther apart the last few years. He avoids certain trigger foods and that has really helped. I think he has only take two, two-week courses of Nexium in the last year. I'll start keeping lemon water in the fridge. Thanks farmboy

I am being a terrible wife. DH is planning on going to see Trump speak in Omaha. I told him no :/ All this running to football games and concerts, I am exhausted. I actually want to go, I kind of want to hear the guy that might be President speak without the media's take on everything. But I WANT to stay HOME...oh I am whining...

Still stunned that he is the republican nominee ( well almost ). And it would be interesting to go.
