Frequency of crowing

I have heard my subordinate roo crow maybe a total of 10 times in 6 months.
Yesterday the DD, SIL, and GS visited. That rooster followed the SIL around outside crowing every two minutes the whole time they were here.
I go back to what I said before, they crow when they feel like it.

We recently rehomed a Delaware roo that could NOT be quiet.

He crowed around the clock, in the dark of the coop at 3AM! My wife couldn't handle it anymore.

Also, he was LOUD!

The backyard is so much more quiet now, until one of the girls lays an egg!

I have a roo that crows AROUND THE CLOCK!!! He was the subordinate roo, never let out a peep, and then he got injured, I think by the other roo, so I separated them, and he started crowing (at about 18 weeks) and hasn't stopped! He starts about 4:30 am. I live in the burbs so he's gonna have to go unless anyone knows how to get a roo to stop crowing, besides dinner! He's such a lover I hate to get rid of him but I can't tick my neighbors off either. If someone knows a way to get them to stop crowing, please let me know!

Wow! I didn't know that they could crow at eighteen weeks! I wonder why he started after he was injured.

My one roo crows all day and all night! We had a wedding reception last Saturday, got home at midnight and he was out there crowing away! We have heard him at 2, 3 and 4 in the morning too!!

My little silkie roo crows all the time, and when he gets going he crows repeatedly. The BO roo is much quieter over all. But yes, they crow whenever the h#ll they feel like it. Mine are mostly quiet at night.
