Fresh herbs in the Brooder

been using this technique of adding fresh herbs along with the Chick Start in the brooder for week old chicks, so far so good, any recommendations?

Make sure they have grit in their system so they can grind them up in their gizzard.

Keep the volume fairly low. Their feed needs to be the vast majority of what they eat.

Which ones? Everybody will have their personal favorites and will have ones that they want to avoid. I don't think which ones matter as long as you do not overfeed any of them.

yes thank you, I add the baby grit, they pick what they like and I always clean out whats left by the end of the day to avoid moldy stale leaves and such in the box. this group are tiny Serama chicks i pulled from the little hens run, i incubate them inside other wise mice or rats may/have come and cause some damage. thank you for the feed back, please keep in touch, have a great evening
