Whatcha Making for Supper?

I started a pizza dough a couple days ago using a new recipe and the stand mixer for the original kneading process. It felt over kneaded, if that is a thing. It got better yesterday when I worked it by hand, and it sure is rising well. So we will see.

Pizza is the plan. Will it be homemade or parlor bought? That is the question.

Oh...and salad.

I was lazy tonight. I opened a canned jar of Great Northern beans with sausage (and onions, some fine carrots) added a little ketchup and ground cayenne pepper (which I ground from our organic dried peppers). I served with a side of homemade wheat toast with melted cheddar. Husband said fine, I still haven't eaten but tasted it before serving to him. I'm glad I can, not just for if the SHTF but convenience. Now back to watching the almost 5 week old chicks. It's a good day.
