She laid an egg yesterday, her first day with us.
I scrambled around Sat. morning to build a nest
box, and a roost for in the dog crate. She is in
the nest box as I type now. She hates the confinement,
but if she's traveled from junkmanme's place in New Mexico
she's used to being free.

We do have an extra
dog crate we put on opposite side of house away from
our flock so she can get some grass and bugs. She's is
very messy, dumps food and water constantly, but she
likes attention and already talks back when we talk to her.

Oh she sounds lovely! You should call her Chatty.

I'm glad she found a good home.
