Hi all,

I have a friend that has a wild pea hen on his property, and she has been around for like 4 years. 1 week ago, he found her by his ducks, and she just sits there and is lethargic. He locked her up separately since they have all types of predators on his property and she hasn't been eating or drinking. Any ideas would be super helpful. I was thinking maybe she could be wormy or eggbound...

He just sent me a picture of her poop just in case it helps.

Thank you ksKingBee! I picked her up from my friend and she is in a pen by herself at my place. I put a big bucket of water in with her that has probiotics and electrolytes in it. I also gave her some metronidazole in the water and she drank right away. I will buy some safeguard and give it to her. I have a coccidiosis med should I give her that?

Start by deworming with 2.0ml of safeguard orally. Since she is not eating it will have to be given by gavage (crop needle) or by tubing with a bit of water and later with a light food slurry.
I dosed her with 2 ml safe gaurd should I keep dosing for 5 days?
