friendly chicken breeds

Im not very experienced in breed determined "personality" does anyone know any especially friendly breeds?

I loved my Silkies. They were sooo sweet and loving. That's all I have any experience with, except for my neighbor's hen that stayed over here because I would talk to her and pet her rotten. She was a golden comet. Her name was Sister Sugar Bugger. But she would answer to Dollface.

You absolutely need some Delawares. My Nick is the nicest rooster there is. The girls become very friendly to the point you can't work in the yard but that they are under foot. Orpingtons are nice too. Barred Rocks are ok but it depends on the line.

Any of the older leghorns or OEG's are not. Do some research and you'll find some really nice breeds. Oh Polish are cute but not friendly so I've heard.

Besides silkies (mine are little sweeties), my EE hen Sassy is the sweetest little thing. She follows you everywhere, loves to be cuddled and picked up, and has the funniest personality. I love her.
