"Give me feather!" Heart took feather from Shadow and ran off. She stopped to check on the pups dangling from her mouth. They sneezed as tears dropped on their noses. Heart trudged towards the river pack as fast as could, away from shadow.

"NO!!!" Heart sobbed. She cried, then decided to continue back to camp. When she arrived she barely could walk and her head throb. She tried to dry her tears, but the more she did the more she cried. She saw Star but tried to pass her without being noticed.

Star walked over to Heart. Shadow was holding Feather smugly by Star. " Don't betray me again." He whispered as he walked into his and Heart's den.

Star padded over to Heart and took the other pup and brought it to Shadow then came back. " Come to my den, Heart." She said softly.
