Midnight nodded and said to Luka,"Now as far as I can tell, you share this pack's many strong qualities: strength, desire for revenge and power, but you seem to lack intelligence. If you were smart, you would join. You seem like you would fit right in. Now why do t you want to join?"

Luka suddenly Lept at midnight. He didn't want to kill either of them. He just wanted to show he could fight and would. He grabbed her scruff and tried to throw her dOwn.

" my father was fangs beta" she said.

Midnight was taken by surprise and didn't have time to catch herself. She hit the grlund hard and by now she was infuriated. She got to her paws and lunged at Luka.

Fang lept on. He bit into her paw, hard.
 
Luka snapped hard grabbing her shoulder. He kicked bqck to hit fang in the chest at the same time

Maxwell looked out over the mountain to make sure they weren't followed, when he was sure they were safe he disappeared into the darkness of the cavern
