Charger never took her eye's away from Fang's. This was an act of wolf defiance. If she was going down, she sure wasn't going to go down easy. ~~~ Timber pawed at a spot in the grass. "Here's the scent. I think it goes that way." he said, pointing his nose West.

Fang paused to sniff the air. The only wolf. ~~ Rain followed Timber.

Charger saw that Fang was venerable. Not much, but this was her chance. In one explosive movement, Charger latched her jaws around Fang's windpipe and ripped back as hard as she could.

Timber stopped suddenly. He saw a dead female elk on the ground, and eating it was a mother Grizzly Bear. He turned and looked elsewhere.
