FRIENDSHIP...and what it means .....

During my time here on BYC, I have made many aquaintences, whose company on the Boards I have thoughly enjoyed....but I have also made many friendships on BYC....some have travelled the many miles between us (cyberly)...some of my friendships are very very close to my heart, others are in the developement stages of close friendships.....BUT all are special to me..... I have laughed and cried with you all...but the most important thing I have found amongst you all is your capacity to cross the miles to me....that is exceptionally special, and one for which I feel truly humble and estatic about. People talk about cyber friendships and say that they are not really "real"...and that people who need cyber friendships are lacking in their lives...well I lack nothing in my life....but you guys....your all absolutely fantastic!!.....

I have been touched in my heart this week from across the miles....thank you all so much for the wonderful friendship you have extended....long may it last....... you all have my heart...my friendship........ it is wonderful! ......I for one love my cyber world of BYC... thank goodness for google who brought you to me in the first place......

Must get back to my ironing (((SIGH)))))) just wanted y'all to know how much y'all meant to this Englishwoman....

How's this for describing friendship? Granted it is a little on the manly side...

1. When you are sad -- I will jump on the person who made you
sad, like a spider monkey jacked up on mountain dew.

2. When you are blue --I will try to dislodge whatever is choking you.

3. When you smile -- I will know you are plotting something that
I must be involved in.

4. When you are scared -- I will rag on you about it every chance I get.

5. When you are worried -- I will tell you horrible stories about how much worse it could be until you quit whining.

6. When you are confused -- I will use little words.

7. When you are sick -- Stay away from me until you are
well again. I don't want whatever you have.

8. When you fall -- I will point and laugh at your clumsy butt.

9. This is my oath.... I pledge it to the end. 'Why?' you may ask;

'because you are my friend'.
