Me: *walks up to office door and knocks.*

Boss: "Come in."

Me: "Um...Sir can I talk to you."

Boss: "Yes have a seat" *points to chair.*

Me: *Sits down in chair.* "i was wondering..."

Boss: "Yes?"

Me: *clears throat.* "Could I um... have a raise..Sir."

Boss: *ponders the idea. "Hmm...Well it seems you do deserve one..."

Me: * looks up hopefully*

Boss: "Yeah, i don't see a reason not. Congrats, you just earned a promotion!"

Me: *reaches over desk and shakes boss's hand.* "Thank you Sir, thank you."

Me: *runs out of office and does a happy dance.*
