In May I got my first six chicks. Three have turned out to be roos. In the last couple weeks the boys are becoming quite amorous. The girls have squawked enough to get my attention but I'd miss what got them started. Today I witnessed a moment and had a question. If the girls aren't readily laying, is it harmful in any way to allow this activity to continue? I haven't even got them into the nests yet and have only gotten one egg about a week ago. If I should stop or limit the activity, how do I separate them? Thanks!

Three cockerels attempting to breed a pullet at the same time are very likely to injure her. I would suggest either getting rid of or separating them. The stress of harassment can impact egg production.

Yes, you should separate them. It will stress your young ladies out to keep them together.
