I have 11 girls, a lead roo, three in isolation, two of which might be allowed out at some point. They're only 24 weeks old. Also 10 upcoming, but I'm not concerned about them at the moment.
I let one of the young boys out this week. He's doing fine, one of the older girls is hanging out with him. The other girls don't seem to prefer one over the other, but the older roo is going nuts trying to keep "his" girls from defecting.
Every chance he gets he chases the young one away. The boy is roosting on the floor because the older roo won't allow him on the roost.
I know it will even out eventually. I'm just wondering if I should let one of the other boys out so the senior roo has to divide his attention?
