How do I get two roosters to share a new coop?

A little info: I have 20 hens and two roosters (Big Boy was a rescue/rehomed, no issues at all, I believe, he is over 2-3 years old; Dewy, just over a year - one of our hatchlings. I have two small coops, so Big Boy is in one, and Dewy is in the other (it wasn't planned; it just worked out that way). They are all let out together to free range all day. Big Boy will chase Dewy a few times a day. Dewy runs away, so there is no contact; he keeps his distance. I want to eliminate the two smaller coops, so I put together a big coop (8x8) with an attached 8x16 run. Move-in day to the new coop will be tomorrow, as I should have everything completed. I did do a test run. I got everyone to go in to check out the setup (food/water/roost), and Big Boy didn't want Dewy in there; he chased Dewy out. Will this escalate? Do I need to keep them in separate coops? I don't want to force the issue. I especially don't want anyone hurt. I love both my boys and don't plan to get rid of either of them. I will keep Dewy in his own coop (with a few of the girls) if I have to. Your thoughts, suggestions, please? The first picture is Dewy, and the 2nd is Big Boy. ONLY MUD on Big Boys waddle, he is fine. I love my handsome boys, they are sweeties...
I think you are too short on space for 22 birds. Your 8x8 coop only gives each 2.9 sf of space. And 8x16 run only gives each bird 5.8 sf. Maybe try to expand their space, possibly doubling given you have two roosters which sound like they aren’t going to share well together. Just a thought. Google space for coops and runs and I have found most recommend much more than you currently have for the number of chickens and especially with Roos.

SilverChic says they let them all free range sunup to sundown everyday on 1/8th acre (or 4,445 square feet or 202sf per bird). Under those conditions, smaller space inside a coop can still work well as long as the poop situation/amonia doesn't overwhelm. That is according to the guy that does the "Carolina Coops" youtubes. I watched the entire episode before adding more hens to my technically too-small coop.

Thank you for your response; it is greatly appreciated. If I may clarify, (sorry for the confusion) there are two sets of coops/runs, one set for each Roo and hens. Also, they are only in these areas when they go to bed. I open the doors in the morning for all-day free roam and keep the run area open, since their food/water is in there. I also have water outside in the open areas. Last night, they put themselves to bed (which I was totally thrilled about). As I was putting the final touches on the coops/runs, I had let them come and go over the past few days to get familiar with the new sleeping quarters, and I closed off their old coop, which helped with the adjustment. Here are a few pictures from last night.

If I could add a few suggestions to the mix. Prepare in your future you may need to install sight block between the 2 runs if/when your boys decide to not like each other anymore.... This sometimes ramps up in spring mating season.
If it does come to these two not getting along you could alternate the 2 flocks free range time if possible. But note then you may need to sight block both runs so they don't fight thru the fence. Ideas here are just a 2' high tarp or store banners to still allow sun... if the runs are connected you could add a door to the partition wall to allow use of the full run by the flock that is penned at that time, as long as the free range flock can still access their coop to lay.
I've done it this way for a few years now with 3 seperate breeding flocks.

Added a visual. I have 4 runs total, all coops are in barn with 3 of the runs u shaped around with doors allowing one flock use of 2 runs while one flock is free range. Pic is winterized but shows the banners I use at bottom 2 feet for sight blockers all year.

Congratulations! Your free ranging system also has the authoritative support of "Carolina Coops" videos that when plenty of open space to day forage, a technically smaller coop space can be perfectly fine. Just make sure the night poop does not overwhelm.

Thank you, Mrs. K. Yes, the plan was to get everyone in one coop to make things easier. I would be so upset if they got into a death fight. I don't think Dewy would do anything but try to escape, and Big Boy has 2-inch-long spurs, so that would really be bad.
Catching up ... so trim BB's spurs, trim both roosters spurs but only to where there is color change in the spur.

Ref the poop situation; I do a deep litter method with pine shavings at the moment. I put down cinnamon and First Saturday lime every time I add a layer, works great for smell and breaking down the material. I will clean out the coops once a month.

I'm prepared for the sight blocks, each 8x8 section between the two runs has just enough space to drop a board or tarp between them. If any issues start while free range, both roosters will let me pick them up (all my chickens will allow me to) and I can put one or the other back into the run and switch out like you suggest. Oh, I like that idea of adding a door between the two run, might just do that, thanks! Both coops have doors that I can open up if needed for access, I could leave them open if I have to close a roo up. Great ideas, thanks!
