So sad😭 we probably won’t be able to keep him. Unless, anyone has insight on bantam cockerel? Are they keepable?

100% a cockerel. I'm unsure of what you mean by "keepable". Do you live in a residential area where roosters are not allowed? Are you asking if a bantam cockerel counts as a rooster?

Basically we don’t want our eggs getting fertilized. We live in an area where it is probably ok but it is still a suburb neighborhood. I guess what I mean is are they less aggressive?

As long as you collect your eggs every day and put into fridge - fertilized eggs are no different than unfertilized.

Bantam Cochins are one of the most docile, friendly breeds there are. Every bird is an individual though. With him being Cochin, the odds of him being a little gentleman are in your favor. One cannot predict the future, but I seriously doubt he will be aggressive.
