Frizzle and gender identification?

Any ideas on what this chick’s breeds may be a mix of? I got him/her with sizzle chicks, but does not appear to be a silkie mix like the others. Also any guesses on gender? 2+months old

It has some silkie in it, in my opinion. Silkie type comb and purplish in color there. Probably a silkie/frizzle Cochin mix, but lots of other possibilities.

Looks like a silkie mix to me. For a 2+month old bird I'm not seeing anything that screams cockerel, but to quote Overo, I don't do silkies

I guess the missing poof on top of “herms” head is what throws me off and makes me think not silkie. These are what the other chicks look like compared to this little misfit.

It definitely looks like it’s a silkie mix of sorts to me, maybe some EE? I’m definitely not an expert. But oh my goodness, that face! Adorable.

Also, I’ve had a silkie frizzle with no poof on her head in the past! It’s definitely possible. I’ll include a picture of her below.
