I hatched some smooth/frizzle Cochins from a Smooth Cochin Hen and Frizzle Cochin Rooster.
The hatched chicks are now 7 months old: Two pullets are smooth, one pullet is frizzle, and one rooster is frizzle.
My question is: Why has my frizzle pullet lost all the feathers on her head? The smooth pullets have all their feathers. Is this due to breeding, or is the rooster probably mating her too rough? I feel sorry for her and am thinking of re-homing her and keeping my Frizzle Rooster and the two Smooth Pullets.
