Frizzle bantam got moldy feed. Botulism?

Well. I don't know about knowledge, but I do retain a lot and remember where to find info🤣 My brain is getting old, so I do try to remember to make notes too.
Oh, stahp, @Wyorp Rock. That's what knowledge IS, silly! Retaining info and knowing where to find it if you need it. That's, like, the textbook definition of intelligence.

Been meaning to post an update. I did the epson salt flush yesterday ( finally) it was rough. It was 1/4 cup of liquid luckily I had a pediatric g-tube and a large syringe. I was very worried about her after because it seemed to affect her balance more. I’ve found her upside down the times I’ve found her I added more pine shavings to help w traction. But she’s been stuck twice upside down. I had liquid vit b so I orally dosed her with about 1 ml this morning and that’s kept her settled I don’t think she can move so I dipped her beak in water w nutri drench before I left this morning and ouf the food bowl in front of her. If I had time I’d scramble some eggs for her. She seems to have no interest in food. Hopefully the vitamins kick in. Doesn’t look like wry neck. No star gazing, poop doesn’t suggest coccidiosis, and the worst fear of course is mareks. But I don’t see any suggestions so back that up. I’m debating taking her to a vet if I can in time today. If not Monday. She’s skinny and always seems lighter than my other birds. I assumed coccidiosis in the past and have separated and treated but she never seems to put on weight despite having full crop. I hope this can help others in the future. I’ll keep updating

Can she walk at all?

Finding her upside down sounds like a neurological symptom.

You are giving liquid B, is that B-Complex or just B12? It would be good to get B-Complex into her and also Vitamin E (400IU) daily. Egg is very good and it will help with the uptake of E too.

Does she always have a full crop, even in the mornings before she's had anything to eat/drink? Is her crop emptying?

Seeing the vet is a good idea if that's an option for you.
Please keep us updated.

No she want keep her balance. I think she’s definitely dealing w neurological issues from botulism and the inability to eat because she can’t walk. I have exact parrot feed and planned to syringe feed. I’m worried about organ failure due to lack of food. Her crop seems to be working. After the epson flush and other times ( not as of the last 2 days). He’s crop has been empty. I offered kitten food and scrambled eggs this morning and she didn’t touch it. I decided to take her to the vet. I wasn’t able to earlier in the week unfortunately. After driving to one vet and getting refused I went to an other and they close at noon so I had to leave her there 🄹🄹🄹🄹. She’s always been wimpy and trying to remember if I assisted her hatch. Or if it’s just because she’s frizzle. I didn’t even think about vit e. Thx. I had a vit b complex from my ducks. I’ll keep I posted. But expecting the worst. I held her during the drive because I couldn’t handle seeing her flipped over in the crate. ā¤ļø I’ll attach pictures

:hugs Please let us know what the vet says.
I'm so sorry she's not improving.

They called and said they gave her an antibiotic shot and vitamins. I hope she’s not too far gone at this point. I asked if they would syringe feed her. She didn’t say but did say they had chicken feed there for her. Praying she pulls through and I’m not looking at a big bill for all this 😬

Would it make you feel any better if I told you just how much I have paid to save my duck who has internal laying?
:th

Lol. Well maybe? Ahhah I’m notorious for doing that. I have 3 dogs and 5 cats ( one wandered to my house a few weeks ago) but I’m new to taking birds to the vet. Only took one for a necropsy 3 yrs ago. The vet I took him too has good reviews for helping chickens. So trying to be optimistic or at least ok if she doesn’t make it because I tried everything

She made it through the weekend! By 10 am no one called so I called and they said I could pick her up. The vet said he didn’t expect her to pull through but glad she did and that she just needs extra care. She’s still flipping over but when you set her up with food/ water she eats like a pig. when I picked her up she had a huge full crop. i’ve been home about an hour and offered her food and she ate a little bit. Then offered her water and she drank for a long time. The vet gave her an antibiotic shot 🄓. I guess why not lol. Corid, vit E shot. And some syringe feeding. He said coccidiosis and wry neck and sent me home with Corid which I already had. But I’m super grateful they got get past the hump. I just gotta keep wirh feeding her
My concerns is that when I have read about wry neck is it takes FOREVER to recover. anyone dealt wirt this?
