The chick is around 8-9 weeks and I'm unsure if you can tell this early on but I thought I'd ask anyway

I want to guess pullet.... But that comb is pretty wide; I'm gonna have to go with cockerel. I take it this is a silkie cross?

Polish cross apparently but she has 5 toes like 1 of her sisters which I believe is odd for a polish?

I'm hoping she/he is a girl as I'm in love with the little thing

She/he seems a little bigger then her sisters but Im not sure if that's just the feathers

That garantees it. With the walnut comb and the 5 toes... They could be polish crossed with silkies. Those combs and extra toes come from a silkie parent.

The lady said they were just polish not that I'm bothered either way I just like knowing what they are for myself

I never knew I wanted one until I saw her! I've always wanted a silkie but I must say I love the look of this little one

I do hope your right I love the little duster baby i spend ages in the garden watching them
