Frizzle Cochins in the cold Winter months

I live in Minnesota and this year we bought our first frizzles. I am wondering if we need to do anything special for them.
 
Move, that is what I did. I just got some frizzles that made it through N.C. winter where 0 is occasional. I have no idea how I lived in No. MN for 52 years. -30 scares me now.
 
I would love to move else where in the Winter months:D Last year it hit -40 below 3 times!!! You know its cold when they have live stock warnings out and all schools canceled Our coop is insulated with losts of hay bales and a couple heat lamps. All the birds did well last Winter, but a few Silkies and Polish really struggled with the cold temps. I keep a thermometer is the coop and the coldest it got in the coop was -2. But still thats freakin' cold! lol
