So I’ve been trolling and planning for several years and finally got my first chicks. Having a chicken in Shawnee KS is pretty regulated but we’re almost there. Coop is built run is almost finished and then our CSO has to approve it. By then the babies should be ready to be outside. Really wanted Orpingtons but couldn’t find them sexed locally and we can’t have roosters here so we got 5 Easter Eggers for now. Can only have 10 total so we’re starting rather small. So far the girls are doing quite well. Lively somewhat friendly and just so dang cute!
