I have no idea, I've only had my little guy for a few days, and just saw the contest. I saw nothing that said the contest had ended so I posted just in case.

I got so very very lucky with this guy, and he/she is coming around real nicely thanks to the 3 younger Black Giant chicks, he/she kind of pulled a monkey see monkey do with the other chicks and became more friendly towards me and less afraid when he/she saw how unafraid the other 3 chicks are of me and how easy they are to jump in my hands when I open the cage. I am so very happy about that! My frizzle chick is a personal pet, not just your ordinary chicken that used for getting eggs, babies or meat from. That's why I love BYC, because most of the people on BYC love their chickens as much as I do, if not more.

My Frizzle is about 4 weeks old or so now and is growing in more redish colored feathers instead of the buff colored that I originally thought he was going to be. We don't yet know if it's a cockerel or pullet, but I have the strongest gut feeling that its a cockerel. His mother is a white frizzle cochin bantam, and his father is a Rhode Island Red smooth feathered bantam. I am dying to see how he looks when he is older. I want to call him Romeo, but haven't settled on a name yet just incase he is a she.
