frizzle or just messy looking?

This is Gypsy, a 4 week old bantam cochin. He or she has feathers coming in that are starting to stickout a bit, they just looks a lot less smooth than any of my others. Could it be a frizzle? Does anyone else think it looks like a he.

Very pretty! Partridge but does not look to be frizzled to me. The wings look too smooth. I can't wait to get mine. If it has frizzle genes you want to use these to breed to frizzeled ones 2 frizzeled ones a no no. Beautiful lil bird. Have more ?

just messy-all though it doesn't look messy just in it's awkward stage? cute though!

This is the only one, I would like more. I got it in the bantam bin at TSC, impulse buy. It isn't showing up as well in the pics, the chick looks like it has bed head but the feathers are not curly like I imagines frizzles to be. They are laying a lot like my silkies feathers but are normal feathers.
