Frizzle Polish question

I have/had a frizzled polish chick. It seems to not be as, um, frizzley, as it was in the past. Can they "outgrow" frizzle? I'll get a pic if needed.

If it's just less frizzled it might just be the humidity. Humidity & dampness will take the bounce out of frizzle--I see you're in WV--I know here in MD we've had some disgustingly high humidity lately! I suppose if it's young & still growing into its adult feathers it could be growing/changing, though in my experience frizzled chicks develop more defined frizzling as they mature, not less. Maybe it's just an awkward "teenage" phase? If it's genetically frizzle, it's frizzle & not going to grow out of it--though it could end up just not a great quality frizzle.
