I am in love with the frizzles! My understanding though is you don't want a hen and a roo together that are both frizzles? So, if I were to order some frizzle chicks, after I found out the sex of them, I'd just get rid of the roos? Or keep them separate (which I don't think will happen)?

Also, is there a breed that turns out better frizzled than another?? It sounds like I can order them, but the woman I spoke with didn't know what kind they were other than "frizzle".

Thanks in advance!

I want frizzles, too! Where are you getting them?

Yes, you definitely want to separate the males and females. A double dose of frizzle will cause frazzle (which will cause brittle feathers).

Our somewhat local feed store

I was thrilled when he said he could get them

I love this place! I also got my silkies from there... I am becoming addicted FAST..UGH!

A silkie with a fizzled cochin will get you a flock of muppets. I highly reccomend it!

My sizzle, Dozer.
