Frizzle Roo or hen

3.5 mo old...maybe 4. Very timid. When neck is stuck out the feathers are not very long.

What are some of the clues?

I am assuming it is a large fowl, going on the development of waddles and comb for that age. Here is a picture of one of my LF at about the same age that grew up to be a pullet. Frizzles are harder to judge because you don't see thesaddle feather as easily.

Other than the comb and waddles the feathers look the same. I did not freak out so much about those as my leghorn and Jersey giant had the same amount at 3.5 mo. The neck feathers are all short, and I don't see any really long tail feathers either. I'm praying it's a girl, sooo cute. I don't know if it's a large one or not. I just assumed it was a bantam as I got it at the same time as a crew of six silkies...but they are all about 1/3 smaller??? I just assumed the frizzle feathers stuck out further!

Bugger, why did I pick out hard to sex breeds!
