is the silkied pair for sale ?

do you find that the wingtips on the frizzled boys do better in a wire bottomed or solid bottomed cage ? my little white frizzled cockerel started crowing at 4 am and kept it up for an hour

until I went down stairs and hand fed him some treats, not spoiled not spoiled at all.

All 3 are for sale, I just don't have the last two up for auction since I reached my "limit".

I will probably be putting them up on one of the other auction sites...The last two, Blue Boy and his girl, are my foundation silkieds...I'm now working with their offspring, which is why they are for sale. Blue Boy is sweet, shy, perfectly at home with people walking around him, but he doesn't like to be picked up and held! He doesn't have a mean bone in his body, but he squawks and shrieks when you try to pick him up...too funny!

My cages all have wire bottoms, but I am going to redo them when the warm weather is here, and keep them on flat bottoms with sand. I have one trio on sand, and like it a lot, very easy to take care of.

I want! I want!

I keep searching for eggs but they are either too far away (I don't want them to have to be shipped to far since they are delicate) or they are more than I can afford.

I'm not giving up, but now I want a Silkied one too.

You said a mouth full. I only have three chicks and two are roos. This is the first time I've every not wanted to get rid of a roo. I can't decide which I like best.

Maybe in the future (when mine are old enough 'cause I don't want to be left out) we can have a Serama egg swap for those that might be interested. Swapping only Serama eggs. If that's allowed.

What beautiful babies. I watched the video of Lacey trying to coax the hen into the nest box- my husband and I couldn't stop laughing! That's so funny! We couldn't believe you recorded that.

What a sweet rooster! Back in the day I had a standard light brahma rooster who was in love with a little mille fleur d'uccle - Kiwi and Millie! Anyway, she was about the size of his foot and he sure loved her. He would hop into the nest boxes with her and lovingly place pieces of straw on her back and sing her a lullaby.

I'd been following this thread just to enjoy the pictures and tonight, it suddenly hit me I might have some too and Juliette was nice enough to confirm it. Here is one of the 2 chicks I recently hatched from eggs given to me when I picked up a couple of hens a while back.
Not really good pictures but I wanted to share them since I didn't really catch on for a while that they were frizzled and had to hunt for frizzled chick photo's.
