Hey everyone I am getting frizzled cochin eggs in the spring and would like to know if my son would be able to show frizzled cochins in 4-h.

thanks. just wondering if frizzled cochins are allowed in 4-H.

The Morgan County Fair in ky allows them as long as it is an open class he can the wont place in market though!

they are in the American Standard of Perfection and should be allowed as Show Chickens. My kids have entered them LOTS of times....but contact your Extension Office to make sure...

Most shows allow frizzles, but they have to show in the class they originated from. A cochin frizzle shows with the cochins, A wyandotte frizzle shows with wyandottes. The only problem I have with frizzles is, while they are neat to look at and have around, they do not tend to show well in most shows.
