From calcium deposits to bloody eggshells

Ok this is what I was thinking. I can get a flock raiser feed at our local store and I was thinking of mixing it with oyster shell and leaving some on the side. She doesn’t seem to like extra calcium so I’m assuming she’ll be the one that won’t eat it
Keep the oyster shells separately. When I fed a layer very little oyster shells were consumed because it has extra calcium. On my all flock they eat more oyster shells. They will consume them as necessary. Mixing them with the feed doesn't make them eat them.

Tbh they'll just pick around the mixed in oyster shell, but inherently know sometimes they need it so a separate bowl will work. If your local farm supply store doesn't carry all flick, talk to the manager and request ut...mine was very accommodating
