Hi!
Just have a quick question for everyone! I have some extra dog food from my Golden Retriever that he does not want to eat. Can his Pedigree dog food be fed to my chickens as a treat? If so, should I crush up the dog food to make it easier for the chickens? Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

P.S. Will the dog food make my chickens bark? LOL

Yes it can be fed to your chickens in small quantities unless there is some reason your dog will not eat it. It will not make them bark - maybe bite the mailman though. If it is large kibble crush it or soak it in water.

I wouldn't chance it. You could end up with something like this on your hands::lau

Good to know as long as they don’t get smart enough to start getting out of the coop like this cat below!
