from egg to chicken...cool pics of development

Yes the way they get those photos is to kill a chick at each day of development to photograph the changes. So at least 21 chicks died to make those photos. Interesting to see how they develop but I would prefer to see candling myself.

What you can do is remove part of the shell and seal the hole with a glass slide. If this is done hygienically, the eggs can hatch.
 
VERY interesting. I have thought about doing something like that, but I don't think I could kill the little chick!

I wish there was a day next to each photo!

Seeing it like that, it does let me know what I'm seeing when I candle!
