From Holland with love

Hi,
as you have guessed, I'm from Holland. I just turned 50 and for my birthday I received money to buy a coop and chickens.
I have been reading about chickens all winter and decided I want 3 or 4 Wyandottes. Spring has come here in Holland and we've cleaned the spot for the coop. Now, all I have to do is order the coop and find the Wyandottes I want.
I'm looking forward caring for my new pets!

they have arrived!
4 beautifull silver laced now 5 week old pullets

The first egg!!! And in the nestbox! My chicks are only 16 weeks and the first egg has been laid.
I don't know which of the four ladies has laid it, but I'm very proud of all of them.

It's the little brown one, the white one is the fake one, which I just put in the nest boxes this weekend.
