Hello. I'm from a small town southeast of Indianapolis. I was a 10 year 4-H member and raised chickens for 4-H. We've recently moved onto a 2 acre property and gotten more chickens. We're in process of cleaning out and making part of our carriage house into a new chicken yard. Lots of work involved. Due to recent storms, the roof and wall needs fixed. I still have 2 hens and 3 roosters that have not been dragged off by wild animals. As soon as the barn is ready, we will be investing in lots more hens and hopefully a couple of Guineas. We have hopes of eventually expanding and becoming self-reliant as prices at the grocery store are skyrocketing, but we'd be happy just making a little money in the process!
