Hi all...

Just saying Hi from Michigan. My kids and I finally talked my hubby into us getting chickens this spring. We have 8 that are about 3 months old and 1 that is a year and laying. I do love them. They are fun and I think a good learning experience for the kids. Plus eggs are yummy.

So anyway, although we had chickens when I was a kid, I am a newbie to being an owner and caregiver myself. Very excited to get any tips and trick suggestions. Thank you

You should expect eggs from your younger chickens in about a month's time. Awesome! And yea, I agree with you about the eggs.
